Start from a known government source

The national Government of Pakistan portal links to major federal services and institutions. For a scheme run by a specific ministry or authority, use that institution's verified domain rather than relying on a search-result title alone.

Check the domain carefully

Official Pakistani agencies commonly use government-controlled domains such as gov.pk, although the exact structure varies. Some agencies publish explicit domain-authenticity guidance. For example, NADRA states that its official website is nadra.gov.pk and advises users to verify the domain before using services.

Find the announcement on the responsible department site

A genuine scheme should normally leave a trail: a press release, notification, program page, budget document or official social announcement that points back to the responsible institution. If the only evidence is an unrelated blog post, treat the claim as unconfirmed.
